SallyJane Lim, or SJ Lim for short, is a magna cum laude graduate with dual degrees in Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus in Accounting. She easily passed the board and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) before deciding to enter the challenging world of insurance and finance.

SJ consistently excelled in her career and received multiple awards and recognition along the way. Because she loves helping and talking to people, she remained resolute in this industry for more than 30 years without pause and represented top rated companies in the Philippines and worldwide.

In 1985, SJ was given the distinct  honor of being chosen as the flag bearer of her home country during the annual opening ceremony of the international  Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)  in San Francisco, California. She later received the distinction of being the first from her company, Sun Life of Canada, to qualify as a “Qualifying & Life" member of MDRT in 1989.

Soon thereafter in 1990, SJ became the first ever insurance professional to be sponsored by Prudential of America to resume her insurance career in the United States.   

 

Eventually, based on her personal documented achievements in the insurance industry - and without the assistance of any immigration lawyer -  SJ was able to qualify herself and became the first ever and perhaps the only insurance professional  to ever be  approved by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as an Alien of Extraordinary Ability, which is the highest first-priority category with no waiting period. It is mostly reserved for extraordinary foreign citizens  who excel in the field of science, sports and entertainment, in the likes of  Nobel/Pulitzer Prize recipients, Olympic medalists and world-renowned celebrities.

Finally, SJ's biography has been published in Who’s Who in the World since the Millennium,  Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in the West since the ‘90s by Marquis’ Who’s Who and The World Who’s Who of Women published by International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England since the ‘80s.
